House Groups at Twinspires Church – Connecting in Community!
At Twinspires Church, we believe in the power of community and connection, which is why we run a variety of small groups throughout the week. These groups meet at different times, making it easy for everyone to find one that fits into their schedule. Whether you're looking for a place to discuss faith, build friendships, or grow spiritually, there’s a group for you.
If you'd like to find out more about the small groups we offer and when they meet, feel free to reach out to our office. We’d love to help you get connected!
Alison Collins - Our Homegroup is led by Alison Collins and Sophie Ross. There are eleven of us who meet fortnightly on a Tuesday evening in various homes around the Parish.
Generally, our meeting includes a discussion-based Bible study, a time of dedicated prayer and reflection and sharing all that God has blessed us with on our journey of faith. The group provides space for members to learn from each other, build friendships and support one other through life’s challenges, as well as emotional and spiritual encouragement to enable us to grow closer to God.
At the end of each term, we get together for an informal social evening to share and encourage one another.
We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm.

We'll be using a collection of readings on topics: Repentance, Temptation, and trust, fasting and faithful living and mercy, forgiveness and grace.
Claire Thompson Home group for parents, with pre-school children although some of the original children are now at school. We meet fortnightly at 9.15am on a Wednesday morning in a house near church. We usually start with a cup of coffee, share prayer requests and pray for each other. We then read and discuss a passage from the Bible using a study guide. The children are with us and hopefully play happily. Sometimes of course they need Mum's time and attention. This is not the group for you if breast feeding or nappy changing make you feel uncomfortable. We have the occasional social at the Walnut Tree. Contact Claire Thompson via the office if you would like to try us out.
CONNECT! welcomes anyone, especially those who want to know more about developing faith in a small friendly online group. We meet on Zoom on the first Wednesday of the month at 8-9pm (handy for those with children). Find more here

Steve and Sarah Beak: Steve and Sarah Beak's groups meet on alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays - different groups but both following the same programme. We call our groups 'Life Groups' because our emphasis is fellowship through the joys and challenges of life, rather than simply doing Bible study. We meet from 7.45 until 9.45pm on these evenings, and follow a pattern of worshipping together, sharing the joys and challenges of life, praying for each other, and looking at an aspect of living the Christian life from a Biblical perspective. Generally speaking we look at Christian community and fellowship in the Autumn, our discipleship and spirituality in the Spring, and our outward focus of mission and witness in the summer. We tend to follow the school terms and take a break over Christmas, Easter, and August. Our Tuesday group is pretty full at the moment, but there is room for more on Wednesdays! You can contact us on sandsbeak@gmail.com if you need any more info.
